Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Night Auditor/Front Desk Associate to join our hospitality team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth overnight operations, providing exceptional guest service, and maintaining the security and integrity of the hotel during nighttime hours. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and experience in hospitality or front desk operations. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve our diverse guest base.
Responsibilities
- Perform nightly audit procedures, including balancing accounts and preparing financial reports
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out processes efficiently
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer calls promptly and direct them appropriately
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details
- Ensure the front desk area remains clean, organized, and welcoming throughout the shift
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and reporting as needed
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to address guest needs
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel front desk or hospitality roles preferred; hotel experience is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and guest service software preferred
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts during evenings and weekends as required
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and procedures is desirable
