Hands-On Site Coordinator (Construction)

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, organized, and hands-on Site Coordinator to support day-to-day construction operations across active job sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, solving problems, coordinating trades, and helping projects stay on schedule and on budget.
You’ll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily activities on construction sites
- Assist with scheduling trades, deliveries, and inspections
- Ensure work is completed safely and according to plans/specifications
- Perform site walkthroughs and maintain quality control
- Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers
- Track project progress and report updates
- Help resolve on-site issues quickly and efficiently
- Maintain site cleanliness and organization
- Assist with material pickups, minor labour tasks, and general site support when needed
Qualifications
- Experience in construction, renovations, or site coordination
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to read drawings/plans is an asset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift materials and work outdoors in varying conditions
- Leadership mindset with a strong work ethic
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction
- Experience managing subcontractors or crews
- Familiarity with safety procedures and site documentation
- Proficiency with basic construction software/apps is an asset
