As a key member of our team, you will represent the BayWa r.e. brand by delivering great customer service for a variety of responsibilities. You will learn the ins and outs of how PV systems are designed and sold and make meaningful long-term relationships with major industry players across Canada.
Inside Sales is an integral role that aims to provide a superior and positive experience to our customers across Canada. They handle all aspects of the quote and order process from the time it is requested to the time it is delivered. The Inside Sales team works directly with customers and the Outside Sales team to provide problem resolution and case management related to transit issues, product damage, allocation, and warehouse inventory.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Customer Service
-Prioritize efficiency and accuracy to provide a great customer experience, working to manage/meet/exceed customer expectations
-Ensure a positive customer experience in a fast moving, sometimes uncertain, environment
-Communicate clearly and effectively aspiring to build relationships of trust with our customers
-Answer phone and email inquiries promptly
-Process customer quotes, orders, and returns in the ERP system in a timely manner
-Aid and encourage customer use of the web shop
-Manage open orders to ensure meeting delivery dates and other customer requirements
-Maintain knowledge of current products and learn about new products
-Welcome customers coming into the office
Sales support and coverage for the Inside Sales team
-Provide coverage for teammates, customers and general admin and logistical support as able; includes phone calls, quoting, creating sales orders etc.
-Assist in training of new team members
-Self manage time spent on tasks, determine priorities and balance realistic workflow; communicate capacity to team members; ask for help and offer help when needed
Account management support for the Outside Sales team
-Manage tasks delegated from the Outside Sales team, which may include quotes, orders, general customer inquiries, etc.
-Work with the Outside Sales team to maintain accurate customer information on their accounts
-Understand the difference in roles between Inside and Outside Sales to effectively prioritize tasks and communicate this to customers
-Collaborate with all of sales team to meet/exceed sales goals by understanding our customer base and identifying areas for improvement in the customer experience
Collaboration with other departments
-Work with warehousing and procurement to manage and maintain accurate inventory
-Work with logistics to procure freight quotes and track shipments
-Collaborate with all other departments on continuous process improvement

Requirements:
-1+ years experience in inside sales or customer service
-Previous solar PV training or education is an asset
-Proficiency in English is required,
-Work our hybrid model, 3 days a week in office and 2 days from home office with onsite highspeed Internet, with some flexibility in either Edmonton or Calgary, Alberta
-Flexibility in start time (as we work with customers across Canada, we need to ensure we have coverage for all time zones)
-Proficiency with MS Office
-Some travel to trade shows may be required
-Curiosity and passion for renewable energy
Supervisor: Inside Sales Supervisor
Territory: All of Canada, with a focus on Western Canada customers

· Base pay potential ($55,000 - $65,000 annually )
