We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Detailer / Lot Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible not only for thoroughly cleaning and detailing vehicles, but also for maintaining the overall organization and appearance of the dealership lot. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working with vehicles, and can keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for cars.
Responsibilities
- Clean and wash vehicles inside and out, including windows, tires, and engine bays
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets, seats, and upholstery to remove dirt and stains
- Apply protective coatings such as wax or polish to enhance vehicle appearance
- Inspect vehicles for any damages or imperfections and report findings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing area and equipment
- Organize and maintain the dealership lot, ensuring vehicles are properly parked, lined up, and presentable at all times
- Move vehicles safely around the lot and assist with vehicle staging for display or delivery
- Ensure all vehicles on the lot are clean, fueled (if required), and ready for customer viewing
- Assist with receiving new inventory and preparing vehicles for sale
- Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with clients
- Follow safety procedures and use appropriate cleaning products and tools effectively
Skills & Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive detailing or cleaning is an asset (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate vehicles
Pay: From $17.85 per hour
