Gardener / Landscaping Crew Member
We’re a small, certified horticultural business seeking a reliable and responsible gardener to join our team.
About the Role:
This is a physically demanding position that involves a variety of outdoor tasks. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Garden maintenance (lawn mowing, pruning, weeding)
- New garden installations and planting
- Small paving and landscape construction projects
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Start time: 6:45-7:30 AM at our meeting point on Esquimalt Road
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in commercial horticulture or landscaping (preferred but not required)
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
Compensation:
- Starting wage based on experience
- Wage reviews and increases based on performance (most new hires receive a raise within the first month)
