Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistance Buddies (PAB) to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings. This role is ideal for those passionate about senior care, working with individuals with disabilities, or specializing in dementia care. The PAB will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients through personalized assistance and compassionate caregiving. Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or related fields is highly valued.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support with medication administration following proper protocols
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
- Help with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and organizing living spaces
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety during movement
- Engage clients in recreational activities and socialization to promote mental well-being
- Monitor and report any changes in health or behavior to supervising staff
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure client safety at all times
Skills
- Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is preferred
- Knowledge of senior care practices, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to administer medication accurately and responsibly
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks efficiently
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs of clients and work schedules
- Basic understanding of health and safety standards in caregiving settings

Pay: $17.75-$21.00 per hour
