Manager, Cloud And Data Center Services
Salary Grade: N09 From: $116,000.00 To: $145,000.00
Lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering reliable, secure, and resilient Cloud and Data Center Services that support mission-critical infrastructure across the WSIB.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the delivery and governance of Cloud and Data Center Services in a multi-platform environment
- Oversee a broad infrastructure portfolio, including public and private cloud, compute, storage, backup, access management, disaster recovery, middleware, databases, and system management tools
- Drive service excellence across incidents, problems, changes, requests, availability, capacity, maintenance, and SLA management
- Contribute to infrastructure strategy and roadmap planning, and help shape broader IT direction
- Support the successful delivery of infrastructure projects that enable new business capabilities
- Manage risk, service quality, compliance, continuous improvement, and cost optimization
- Lead, coach, and develop staff, while managing priorities, performance, workforce planning, and resourcing
- Oversee budgets, vendor relationships, sourcing activities, contracts, and infrastructure assets
- Build strong relationships with internal partners, clients, and external suppliers
- Provide clear updates and recommendations to leaders, peers, and teams
What You Bring:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7+ years of experience in Cloud and Data Center Services
- 3+ years of leadership experience with accountability for end-to-end service delivery or operations
- Strong experience in infrastructure strategy, operational excellence, risk reduction, financial management, and vendor management
- Knowledge of several infrastructure technologies, such as Cloud, Windows, Linux, UNIX, Storage, Network, Firewall, Middleware, Database, Backups, Automation, Security, or Mainframe
Preferred:
- 10+ years of experience in Cloud and Data Center Services
- 5+ years of leadership experience in service delivery or operations
- Broad technical knowledge across four or more infrastructure domains
