Duties
- Assist with site preparation, clean-up, and organization to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as directed by supervisors
- Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary tools and supplies promptly
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as sweeping, trash removal, and equipment cleaning
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Operate manual or powered tools under supervision when required
- Help with setting up work areas, scaffolding, or barriers for ongoing projects
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- Excellent teamwork skills; able to follow instructions carefully and communicate effectively
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in construction or industrial environments
- Prior experience in manual labour roles is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Reliable transportation to get to work
Pay: $17.60-$29.57 per hour
