Job Overview
Looking for a personal support worker for a disabled man in Chilliwack. Experience preferred but not mandatory.
Semi-flexible schedule, perfect for someone that has a child in school during the week.
Must have own vehicle and some form of prior first aid training
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring under supervision
- Support client with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Help with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
- Assist with mobility and transfer activities, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Accompanying to appointments/events
- possibility of out-of-town travel
Skills
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred
- Knowledge of patient care practices, medication administration, and caregiving techniques
- Ability to perform light cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic environment
- Flexibility to adapt to different care needs and work schedules
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
