Crave Catering specializes in high-quality corporate and event catering, delivering fresh, chef-driven meals for business meetings, conferences, and large-scale gatherings. We are seeking a skilled Production Cook to join our team, with the opportunity to grow into a Lead Cook position.
This role is ideal for a culinary school graduate looking to apply their training in a professional, high-volume kitchen environment under a red seal chef with room for advancement.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and quality standards.
Assist with ingredient preparation, portioning, and batch cooking for large-scale orders.
Maintain consistency in presentation and quality across all menu items.
Follow food safety and sanitation protocols, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen.
Assist with packing and logistics for catered events.
Support kitchen setup and post-service breakdown.
Demonstrate initiative and leadership potential, with the opportunity to progress into a lead cook role.
Qualifications
Culinary school graduate (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
Strong understanding of kitchen operations, batch cooking, and food preparation.
Ability to follow recipes while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility with scheduling.
Previous catering or high-volume kitchen experience is an asset but not required.
