Regulatory Compliance and Health & Safety Specialist

We are a family-owned distributor and trader of industrial solvents and chemicals seeking a Regulatory Compliance and Health & Safety Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you will ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. regulations governing the transportation, storage, import/export, and distribution of chemical products. You will oversee our Responsible Distribution Canada (RDC) Management System, manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS), support health and safety initiatives, coordinate regulatory reporting and audits, and develop employee compliance training programs.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of regulatory compliance experience in the chemical manufacturing, distribution, transportation, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. chemical, transportation, and workplace health & safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.

Schedule:

· Hybrid office and work from home position
· Full Benefits package at the completion of a 3 month probation period.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
