Company Overview
A career at Obsidian Energy means working for a company with a dominant position in Alberta, where
safety is valued, high performance matters and potential is realized. Continuous improvement is a
cornerstone in Obsidian Energy’s evolving culture, and it is critical to our pursuit in becoming the company
that redefines oil and gas excellence in western Canada. Obsidian Energy is becoming a performance
leader in the areas in which we operate, and we continue to look for the people who see the opportunity

About the Peace River Asset
Peace River is a stable, heavy cold-flow, growth asset. Obsidian Energy operates a contiguous and
extensive acreage, with substantial resources in place, in the heart of the Peace River Oil Sands region.
Obsidian Energy is currently progressing on our three-year plan, with plans of reaching 50,000 boe/d in
2026. The increase is expected to be driven primarily by the development of our Peace River Heavy Oil
assets, which are forecasted to more than triple (from 2023 volumes) to 24,000 boe/d in 2026.
