Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Coordinator to join our dental practice with 2+ year of experience. The ideal candidate MUST HAVE DENTAL EXPERIENCE, and will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, insurance calls, and administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with dental and medical office software, and a friendly demeanor to ensure a positive patient experience. Experience with electronic medical records and dental office operations is highly preferred. The Front Desk Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining efficient office operations and supporting the overall success of our practice.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and relay messages accurately
- Verify patient information and update electronic medical records using systems such as Curve Dental
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments in accordance with provider availability
- Collect patient payments, process insurance claims, and handle billing procedures
- Maintain organized patient files and ensure confidentiality of medical information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Coordinate with dental staff to facilitate smooth daily operations
- Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and professional in appearance
Experience
- 2+ years with previous experience as a front desk receptionist in a dental office is desirable
- Familiarity with dental software such as Curve Dental is preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and electronic dental records management
- Proven ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently
- Office experience demonstrating excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Prior administrative experience in a dental office settings is required
- Exceptional communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34.0 – 36.0 per week
