Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring the integrity of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV and other security equipment.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences in detailed reports.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and assist in investigations related to security breaches.
- Implement conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior or activities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and security protocols.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
