About GoodDoors
GoodDoors Property Management is a Saskatchewan-based property management company managing rentals across Regina and Saskatoon for owners who want their rental run like a business. We're a SREC-registered brokerage backing our work with a 30-day lease guarantee, a 4-step tenant screening process, and a modern tech stack that keeps owners informed and tenants well-served.
About the role
We're hiring a Saskatoon-based coordinator and administrator to be the boots-on-the-ground support for our licensed property management team. Our licensed PMs (registered with SREC) set strategy, approve leases, and advise owners. You will be the operational engine in Saskatoon that makes their work possible - coordinating showings, processing applications, keeping vendors moving, communicating with tenants and owners, and gathering the local market intelligence our PMs use to keep rentals competitive.
Twelve months from now, you'll know every active Saskatoon property file, every reliable local vendor, and every competing rental on the market block-by-block. You'll have moved tenants in faster than our 30-day lease guarantee, kept owner files clean and current, and built a reputation with local tenants and trades as someone who follows through.
This is a standalone Saskatoon role. You'll work in our Saskatoon office and out in the field - at showings, on owner walk-throughs, and at vendor visits - coordinating daily with our Regina-based licensed PM team and back-office.
What you'll own
Leasing coordination
- Coordinate and host showings across Saskatoon and surrounding communities (some evenings/weekends when the market demands) - operating under the direction of our licensed property management team
- Process applications end-to-end: employment + reference verification, our 4-step screening, document preparation, e-signature coordination, move-in inspections, key handoffs
- Respond to prospective tenants fast - by phone, text, and email
Market intelligence
- Track competing Saskatoon rentals weekly: rents, incentives, photo quality, time-to-lease
- Share what the local market is doing with our licensed PMs (who set pricing and rental strategy) so we stay competitive
Owner coordination
- Meet owners in person and virtually for property walk-throughs, documentation, and to relay information between the owner and our licensed PM team
- Be the in-Saskatoon coordinator who can be on a property when the owner needs eyes on the ground
Vendor coordination
- Meet contractors, cleaners, landscapers, and other vendors on-site to brief work, verify quality, and keep our Saskatoon trades bench strong
- Coordinate maintenance from intake through completion across tenants, vendors, and PMs
Property administration
- Keep tenant records, lease files, and property data clean and current in our property management software
- Support rent collection follow-up, lease renewals, notices, and move-out coordination (inspections, deposit reconciliation, turnover scheduling)
What we're looking for
Required:
- 1+ year in property management support, leasing, real estate, customer service, or comparable operations work
- Valid Saskatchewan driver's license and a reliable vehicle (you'll be on the road most days - mileage reimbursed at $0.58/km)
- Strong written and verbal communication - you can de-escalate a difficult tenant call and write a clean owner update
- Comfort working solo and managing your own day - this is a self-directed role with daily check-ins to our Regina team
- Comfort using multiple software tools daily (PM software, CRM, e-sign, screening platforms)
- Detail-orientation that catches the missing piece before it becomes a problem
- Eligibility to work in Canada
Preferred:
- Existing experience with Buildium, LeadSimple, ShowMojo, Property Meld, or similar PM/leasing tools
- An existing local network of Saskatoon contractors, trades, or real estate professionals
- Interest in pursuing a Saskatchewan Property Management License (SREC Stream B) - after one year of successful employment, we'll sponsor your registration through UBC Sauder
Compensation + benefits
- Salary: $42,000 to $57,000 per year, based on experience
- Benefits package: 50/50 cost share with the business, available 90 days after successful completion of probation
- Mileage: $0.58/km reimbursed for business driving
- SREC license sponsorship (after Year 1): For coordinators who want to grow into a licensed property manager role, GoodDoors will sponsor your SREC Stream B registration through UBC Sauder (approximately $4K all-in, 6 to 9 month pathway). A defined growth path, not a day-one perk.
- Full-time, permanent role with a stable, growing Saskatchewan brokerage
