Job Description
Fluidstream Inc. (www.fluidstream.co) builds and services patented compression equipment for oilfield production applications.
We are looking for a Senior Oilfield Millwright / Mentor to support difficult field troubleshooting, mentor younger technicians, and provide practical oilfield service judgment during customer site visits.
This role is ideal for a senior oilfield millwright who wants to mentor the next generation.
It may also be a strong fit for someone near retirement, semi retired, or retired who still wants to stay involved in meaningful oilfield work without taking on a labour intensive role.
This is a guidance and troubleshooting role, not a labour intensive role. The senior person may work hands on during complex troubleshooting, but the main value is field judgment, mentoring, diagnosis, and practical service guidance.
Field visits are normally scheduled and completed with Fluidstream technicians. This is not intended to be an urgent on call role.

- Help confirm diagnoses, identify practical repair steps, and guide service decisions.
- Speak directly with customers during site visits when useful to explain findings or build confidence.
- Provide simple field notes, photos, and practical service recommendations after site visits.
- Support occasional shop inspections, teardown reviews, and build reviews.
- Help younger staff develop stronger troubleshooting habits and field judgment.

- Flexible arrangement for the right person.
- Open to part time, contract, casual/as needed, advisory, or full time arrangements.
