Lucan Diagnostic Imaging is a Small Business in Lucan, ON. Lucan Diagnostic Imaging Clinic strives to be PROFESSIONAL, FAST AND RELIABLE, and we expect this of our employees. Our goal is to offer the highest quality of Diagnostic Imaging Services to our patients. We have been serving the London-Middlesex/Huron-Perth and surrounding areas for over 10 years.
We are looking for a professional, punctual and reliable Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer), with a positive work attitude to join our team. We are located in Lucan, Ontario (Public transit not available. Reliable transportation is a must).
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate from an approved Ultrasound Technologist Diploma program
- Current registration with CMRITO
- Current registration with ARDMS and/or Sonography Canada
- Experience & Certification in MOST OB/GYN Scans (NT Certification) and Breast Imaging is highly preferred
- Minimum 1 year of ultrasound work experience in Canada preferred, but not mandatory
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English (please indicate if you are fluent in any additional languages)
- Excellent patient care skills with a customer service approach
- Demonstrate effective time management, decision making skills, and problem-solving abilities
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently AND part of a team, in a fast-paced environment
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for imaging
- Accurately collect/confirm clinical information specific to the investigation
- Provide radiologists with high quality imaging, accurate and complete preliminary technical impression, discussing ultrasound findings with the Radiologist when necessary
- Collect and communicate accurate information through appropriate documentation on images and technical impression worksheets
- Effectively communicate with the Radiologists, including expedited communication regarding gross abnormal scans that may require immediate attention
