Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Busser to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience. The ideal candidate will be proactive, efficient, and possess a passion for hospitality and food service. Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards
- Clear tables promptly after guests finish their meals, ensuring a clean dining area
- Assist with food preparation and service as needed, supporting kitchen staff and servers
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area, and service stations throughout shifts
- Restock supplies such as napkins, utensils, and condiments to ensure smooth service flow
- Support the restaurant team during busy periods by helping with miscellaneous tasks to enhance guest satisfaction
- Follow all food handling and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards assisting colleagues and guests
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 40 pounds)
