Marpole Transport Ltd is looking for a Transportation Coordinator at our Duncan, BC office.
This is a Monday to Friday position, 8-9 hours per day with occasional on-call weekend coverage. Both day and evening shift coverage is required.
- Experience in flat deck and wood chip hauling operations as well as safety and transport compliance
- Must be fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to perform in high stress situations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task and follow through on last minute changes
- Able to direct and lead independent drivers maximizing their productivity throughout the day.

Experience with a computerized dispatch system such as TMW Truckmate would be an asset.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in dispatch. Preference will be given to those with experience in dispatch, communications or logistics.
