Overview
We are looking for a driven & experienced individual with previous roasting experience, or an enthusiastic individual with the right attribute and willing to learn a coffee roasting assistant role. This person will have to be organized, timely, enthusiastic about coffee and proactive. We either have a part-time or more full-time role available depending on the candidate and previous roasting experience and could lead to or include coffee shop work. We require a minimum commitment of a year, the longer the better.

Duties
- Organizing green coffee
- Planning the roasting day
- Packaging coffee
- Keeping the production facility clean and tidy
- Being timely
- Stock management
- Quality control
- Possible deliveries around Revelstoke
- Equipment maintenance
Skills
- Knowledge of food industry standards, including sanitation and food safety practices
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues is an asset
- Experience with packaging processes and handling food processing machinery is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction
- Ability to adapt
Pay: $22.00-$29.00 per hour
