We are looking for a part-time Kitchen Steward who has flexible schedule depending on business needs.
What you will be doing:
- Operating dishwashers efficiently;
- Washing glassware and flatware;
- Polishing all glassware and flatware;
- Cleaning and sanitizing dishwasher mats, dish carts and dish racks;
- Responsible for receiving, stocking and organizing food and supply orders;
- Safely handling and storing cleaning products;
- General dish area maintenance which includes sweeping, mopping, organization and removal of garbage and compost;
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
The person we are looking for has:
- Previous experience working in a dishwasher role or similar environment an asset;
- Strong attention to detail;
- The ability to take direction and remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment;
- Organizational skills and an ability to multi-task;
- Able to spend 100% of the time standing;
- The ability to handle heavy lifting up 50 lbs.
