Based in Winnipeg, BrettYoung has locations throughout Western Canada and Ontario. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our Winnipeg Seed Cleaning team.
Seed Cleaning Miller, Full-Time Permanent
Training will be provided. Responsibilities to include but not limited to
- Set up seed cleaning lines to include clean-outs between each seed type
- Monitor quality and output of seed cleaning lines
- Sample and analyze clean seed output
- Prepare lot-controlled labels for bins of seed output as per specifications outlined by Supervisor
- Put product away to proper warehouse location, recording any movement of product within the warehouse
- Assist with yard and warehouse organization and housekeeping
- Follow Health and Safety policies as outlined
Required Skills
- Highly motivated with positive attitude and the ability to work within a team environment
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is an asset
- Previous forklift experience is preferred, but training and certification will be provided
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work shift work with potential for overtime
- Proficient in spoken and written English
