Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team in both full-time and part-time roles within the food service industry. This position offers flexible scheduling options to accommodate various availability. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage customer orders efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with food safety practices, including proper food handling and storage
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and safety standards
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods
- Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and order accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Prior kitchen or serving experience is a plus but not required
