Title: AV Lead Sales Representative
Department: AUDIO/VIDEO
Location: Remote
Report to: Call Center Manager and Operations Director
Shift: 8a.m-8p.m., Monday–Friday (hours may vary depending on call center requirements).
Wage: To be discussed at the interview, starting at $17.00
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing potential customers to drive sales growth. This role focuses on creating and implementing strategies to generate high-quality leads through various channels, including digital marketing, outbound sales outreach, content marketing, and referrals. The Lead Generation Specialist works closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads and contribute to the overall customer acquisition goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Research & Identification: Conduct thorough market research to identify businesses or individuals in need of A/V products or services, such as system installations, A/V equipment sales, or technical consulting for live events, conferences, and entertainment.
- Lead Qualification: Evaluate leads based on criteria such as project scale, budget, specific A/V needs, decision-making timelines, and technical requirements to ensure they are ready for further engagement by the sales team.
- Outreach & Engagement: Initiate contact with potential customers through multiple channels (email, phone, social media, webinars, etc.), introducing A/V products or services, and assessing their needs.
- Solution Matching: Collaborate with potential customers to understand their audio/video requirements, and recommend appropriate solutions tailored to their objectives.
- Lead Nurturing: Maintain communication with leads over time, providing additional information, answering inquiries, and keeping them engaged through educational content, demos, and follow-ups.
- CRM & Database Management: Use CRM tools (such as WIX or SLACK) to track interactions, update lead status, and ensure smooth handoffs to the technicians team when a lead is qualified.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment of messaging, promotional campaigns, and strategies designed to attract leads in the audio/video market.
- Reporting & Analysis: Track and analyze lead generation metrics, such as conversion rates, source channels, and engagement levels, and adjust strategies accordingly to improve outcomes.
- Product Knowledge: Stay current with trends in A/V technology, products, and market demands to effectively communicate and engage with potential customers.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- A/V Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with audio/video technologies, products, and systems such as sound equipment, video conferencing tools, integrated A/V solutions, and home automation systems.
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in lead generation or sales in a technical or product-based environment, with a focus on understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and lead management tools.
- Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage potential leads and convey complex A/V solutions in an understandable way.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to assess customer needs and identify tailored solutions from a range of A/V offerings.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable discussing A/V technology and understanding customer requirements for customized setups, tv installations, home theatre etc..
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to track, measure, and optimize lead generation performance based on data and insights.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: A strong focus on providing exceptional service and value to prospective clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction throughout the lead nurturing process.

- Prior call center experience

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Conducts research and analysis to determine the root of problems and independently makes decisions on how to handle problems or unusual situations, escalating to a manager as needed.
