Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional Restaurant Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with POS systems and food safety standards is preferred. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their dining experience
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Manage cash transactions accurately and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy hours
- Assist in serving food when required, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol consumption
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or food industry settings, especially as a bartender or server
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Micros POS and cashiering procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Good understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables and drink orders efficiently
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and bill calculations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of serving techniques and hospitality best practices
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact with guests effectively
Pay: $19.16-$20.16 per hour
