We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of work stations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Monitor ingredient levels and notify management of shortages or supplies needed
- Follow all food safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure quality
- Support the overall operation of the kitchen during busy service hours
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Strong understanding of the food industry best practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
