Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. As a Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organizations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. This is a key role within our finance department, and we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and has strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Bank Reconciliations and year end working papers
- Daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Collaborate with team to gather, analyze, and prepare recommendations regarding financial requirements, operational forecasts
- Prepare and record adjustments as required including cost accruals, deferrals, etc.
- Reconcile, report and remit to statutory compliance and government reporting
- Ensure all financial transactions are appropriately accounted for and meet GAAP
- Assist in annual budgeting process and monitor performance to budget to ensure fiscal responsibility
- Oversee cash management processes, including cash flow projections and online banking
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
- Manage and be responsible for the overall financial reporting of the operation, and all other financial related activities
- Participate in ad-hoc assignments or special projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA certification preferred)
- Property management experience is a great asset.
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role with a minimum 3 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Proficiency in using accounting software (such as ERP systems)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
