Hotel and Residential High/Mid Rise projects throughout South Western Ontario.

The Role
BDT Equipment is currently seeking an energized and motivated full-time Foreman
position. The candidate will be tasked with running an excavation / site servicing
crew, maintaining construction schedules, attending site meetings, assist skilled
tradespersons, operate heavy machinery, perform labourer duties and follow all site
health and safety policies.
Responsibilities:
· Manage / work with a site excavation / site servicing crew.
· Work with site supervisors to perform tasks and maintain construction
schedules.
· Attend site meetings when required.
· Operate and care for heavy construction equipment and machines.
· This candidate shall also be able and willing to perform labourer tasks, hand
digging work, pipe laying, etc.
· Assist other supervisors and colleagues when necessary.
· Be able to read and understand construction drawings (specifically civil).
· Comply with local building codes and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
· High school diploma/GED preferred
· Civil Construction industry (Excavation & Site Servicing) foreman experience is
an asset.
· Physically fit, hardworking and self-motivated
· Experience with tools and machinery is an asset
· Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
· Valid Class G driver’s license
· Ability to work independently and within a team-based environment that is
focused on quality, safety, productivity and customer service
· Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues
· Workers must be punctual and reliable
· Workers must be open to travel / staying out of town for work during the
week.

Salary
· We offer competitive wages based on the industry and the applicants skill
level – minimum 48 hour work week with overtime available.
