Job Summary
The Holiday Inn Oakville @ Bronte is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Banquet Set-Up Staff to support the execution of meetings and events. This is a part-time position requiring a flexible schedule, including early mornings and overnight shifts, based on business needs.
Banquet Set-Up Staff are responsible for preparing event spaces to specification, ensuring all rooms are set accurately and efficiently according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). This role is essential in delivering a seamless and professional event experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up banquet and meeting spaces in accordance with BEO specifications
- Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and equipment with a strong attention to detail and presentation
- Reset rooms quickly and efficiently between events
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all banquet spaces and storage areas
- Support the banquet team to ensure events are executed smoothly and on time
Requirements
- Previous experience in banquet setup or a similar role is an asset
- Ability to read and execute BEOs accurately
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying 50+ pounds
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently
- Flexible availability, including early mornings and overnight shifts
Compensation
- Expected Wage: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
