Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Main Line Activator. As a Main Line Activator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our main production lines. This critical position involves a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
Key Responsibilities:1. Line Activation and Monitoring:
2. • Activate and monitor main production lines to ensure they start up smoothly and operate efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and proactively address them to prevent disruptions.
3. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
4. • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues that may arise during production, working closely with maintenance teams to resolve technical problems promptly.
- Implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
5. Collaboration with Production Teams:
6. • Coordinate with production teams to understand the production schedule and prioritize line activation accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with operators and other relevant personnel to ensure seamless workflow.
7. Continuous Improvement:
8. • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Implement and document best practices for line activation and operation.
9. Documentation and Reporting:
10. • Maintain detailed records of line activation activities, issues, and resolutions.
- Generate regular reports on production line performance and share insights with relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and troubleshoot complex machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to prevent and address issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or relevant education is a plus.
- Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a role related to line activation or operation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry moderate loads.
- Comfortable working in a production environment with exposure to machinery and noise.
