Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service in our bustling establishment. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures
- Supervise and manage restaurant staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and scheduling team members
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Lead team management efforts to promote a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Monitor customer service quality to ensure guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food service and timely delivery of orders
- Implement operational policies to optimize efficiency and profitability
- Maintain inventory levels, oversee food ordering, and control costs effectively
- Uphold hospitality standards to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting
- Extensive restaurant management background with knowledge of food industry best practices
- Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Experience in interviewing, training, and developing staff members
- Background in hospitality or hotel management is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Previous barista or bar management experience is advantageous but not required
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service in fast-paced environments
