We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Operations Manager to lead and streamline our day-to-day operations, support our crews, and drive company performance.
Position Overview:
As the Operations Manager, you will oversee all aspects of field operations including scheduling, dispatch, fleet management, and staff supervision. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our moves run smoothly, safely, and on time—while maintaining high customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations and coordinate moving crews, equipment, and schedules
- Hire, train, and supervise movers, drivers, and team leads
- Oversee logistics, routing, and vehicle maintenance
- Monitor job progress and resolve issues or delays in real time
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain inventory of moving supplies and equipment
- Foster a positive work environment and uphold company standards
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations, logistics, or management (moving industry preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with scheduling software and basic business tools (Excel, CRM, etc.)
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and assist in the field when needed
