Job Summary
About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented individual to support our calibration shop with shipping, receiving, cleaning, and basic calibration technician duties. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, staying organized, and keeping workflow moving smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all incoming and outgoing shipments with accuracy and care
- Enter equipment into calibration management software
- Clean, prep, and stage equipment for calibration
- Assist technicians with routine tasks, equipment handling, and documentation
- Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and workflow efficiency
- Print and apply calibration labels and certificates
- Perform other operational duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow technical procedures
- Basic computer literacy
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift and move equipment safely
Preferred Experience:
- Shipping/receiving or warehouse experience
- Technical or mechanical background
- Experience in calibration or metrology (asset, not required)
