Overview:
Kem-Tec, A Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief to lead a field crew delivering high-quality surveying services for land development, construction, and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a field crew in conducting boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction staking surveys
- Operate and maintain survey instruments including total stations, data collectors, GPS, and levels
- Interpret plans, maps, and legal descriptions to ensure accurate data collection
- Collaborate with office staff to ensure data is processed accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety standards and local regulations
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of field surveying experience, with at least 1 year as a crew chief
- Proficiency with survey equipment and software (e.g., Trimble, Leica, Topcon, Civil 3D)
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- Knowledge of local survey standards and procedures
