What we're looking for in an Assistant Store Manager:
- Completion of a pre-employment Criminal Record Check.
- Possession of a valid "Selling it Right" Standard Certificate.
- A strong interest in the cannabis landscape and a commitment to developing a comprehensive understanding of our products.
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a sales and customer service role within retail or hospitality, with significant direct customer interaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with customers professionally and with empathy.
- The physical ability to stand for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs safely on a regular basis.
Your key responsibilities as an Assistant Store Manager will typically include:
- Supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of managing the Imagine Cannabis Co. retail operation, including providing leadership, managing operational costs, and maximizing sales revenue.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and providing knowledgeable guidance to customers on our range of cannabis products.
- Assisting in the development and execution of operational strategies and contributing to the creation of the store's annual budget.
- Helping to manage labor costs and analyze sales performance data.
- Contributing to the image of Imagine Cannabis Co. by implementing and ensuring adherence to store policies and maintaining high standards.
- Participating in the recruitment, training, and development of store staff, assisting with scheduling, and performing various store duties as required.
- Assuming responsibility for store management in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Work independently on-site, including periods of working alone, depending on store needs.
- Other duties as assigned to support the success of the store.
