Overview
Sushi Mura, a vibrant and authentic Japanese restaurant located in <LOCATION>, is seeking dedicated Dishwasher positions to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are sanitized and ready for use. Ideal candidates will have a passion for cleanliness, food service, and hospitality, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided to the right candidates.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout shifts
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all kitchenware and supplies
- Follow all sanitation procedures to uphold hygiene standards in the restaurant
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow during busy hours
- Adhere to food handling and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hotel environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling, and basic kitchen operations is advantageous
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items when necessary
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in a hospitality setting
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
