OJCR Construction Ltd. is a growing civil construction company specializing in underground infrastructure, excavation, and site servicing. We are seeking an experienced Backhoe Operator to support excavation and underground infrastructure work.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently and safely operate excavation equipment including but not limited to: Caterpillar Backhoes, Crawler mounted Excavators, Skid Steer, Front loader, Mini Excavators as required in different construction sites
- Complete equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, locates, etc
- Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed
- Coordinate equipment, materials, and labour requirements
- Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors
- Maintain job site productivity and quality standards
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in operating heavy machinery
- Knowledge of site servicing, trenching, and pipe installation
- Training records (Working at heights, confined space, etc)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- English language proficiency
