Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering excellent service to our customers. Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and ingredients according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook pizzas using various methods such as wood burning ovens , ensuring proper cooking times and temperatures
- Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including food prep stations and cooking equipment
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with other food preparation tasks as needed, including meal preparation for different menu items
- Ensure all food served meets safety and quality standards before delivery or serving
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Strong serving skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with the food industry standards for hygiene and safety
- Experience with meal preparation and food handling is a plus
- Reliable team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude
