Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will complete ground work for clients while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, and vehicle maintenance.
Duties
- Must be able to operate excavators, dozers, payloaders, backhoes or a combination there of.
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards during transportation activities
Experience
- Knowledge of heavy equipment handling is a plus
- Familiarity with automotive repair or basic vehicle maintenance is advantageous
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various conditions
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards
