As we continue to grow, we are seeking a full-time Esthetics Instructor to join our academic team at our Grand Falls-Windsor campus and help prepare the next generation of esthetics professionals.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Keyin College as a full-time instructor, delivering engaging, hands-on education that prepares students for successful careers in the esthetics industry.
As an Esthetics Instructor, you will deliver both theoretical and practical instruction across a variety of esthetics topics while fostering a supportive, inclusive, and learner-focused classroom environment. You will play an important role in helping students develop the technical knowledge, practical skills, professionalism, and confidence needed to excel in today's beauty and wellness industry.
This is a dynamic role that requires flexibility, collaboration, and a passion for education. The ideal candidate is an experienced esthetics professional with current industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to mentor and inspire future estheticians.
What You'll Do
- Deliver engaging classroom, laboratory, and practical instruction in Esthetics courses
- Demonstrate and supervise hands-on esthetics techniques in a safe and professional learning environment
- Support students through coaching, mentorship, and academic guidance
- Evaluate student knowledge and practical competencies through assignments, examinations, demonstrations, and clinical assessments
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress
- Collaborate with academic leadership and fellow faculty to support program quality and student success
- Ensure students understand industry standards, client care, professionalism, workplace safety, and infection prevention and control practices
- Stay current with emerging esthetics techniques, products, technologies, and industry trends
- Assist in maintaining classroom and clinic equipment, supplies, and learning resources
What You Bring
- Diploma in Esthetics or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution
- Combination of education and professional experience equivalent to six (6) years
- Current professional experience in the esthetics, beauty, spa, or wellness industry
- Strong knowledge of skincare, facial treatments, body treatments, manicures, pedicures, makeup application, waxing, and other esthetics services
- Thorough understanding of sanitation, infection prevention and control, and workplace health and safety standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and support adult learners
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Previous teaching, training, mentoring, or instructional experience is considered an asset
- Provincial certification, industry certifications, or additional specialized esthetics training are considered assets
