Master Mingon Kim’s North Burnaby Taekwondo Academy is seeking a passionate and responsible Taekwondo Instructor to join our team. We are looking for a dedicated individual who can inspire students of all ages through martial arts and discipline.
Job Details
- Location: 102-2900 Bainbridge Ave, Burnaby, BC
- Salary: $19.00 – $30.00 per hour (Based on experience)
- Job Type: full-time/ part-time
- Schedule: Weekdays, 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Taekwondo classes for students of various ages and skill levels.
- Teach Poomsae (essential), Sparring, and Demonstration techniques.
- Instruct students on martial arts etiquette, respect, and discipline.
- Foster a positive and energetic environment for the students.
Requirements
- Certification: 4th Dan Black Belt or higher.
- Experience: Previous experience teaching children is highly preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Poomsae is a must.
- Qualities: High level of responsibility, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
- Language: Basic English proficiency (Confidence in communication is key).
Additional Information
- Probation: A 3-month probation period applies to assess long-term fit.
- Potential for permanent position after the probation period.
