Hitch City is a small business. We are fast-paced, professional and customer-centric. At Hitch City, we’ve been in business for over 30 years, we look after retail consumers, fleets and over 150 dealerships across the GTA. We install towing products, Snow plowing equipment, truck accessories, all types of commercial truck upfitting for the various trades. We also have a Landscaping Equipment Division that caters to contractors as well as residential customers.
This position will be a primary point of contact for all customers, therefore, the successful applicant will have excellent communication skills; both written and verbal. The successful applicant will be expected to professionally answer and resolve customer’s inquiries. Some other tasks include updating customer data, administration work.

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative in our automotive accessories store. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping to ensure a smooth and positive experience. Responsibilities
- Greet customers in person and over the phone in a friendly and professional manner
- Engage with customers through sales efforts to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services
- Manage existing accounts by providing ongoing support, upselling additional products or services, and ensuring customer retention
- Conduct product demos and presentations to showcase features and benefits effectively to potential clients
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily booking calendar
- Communicate customer concerns accurately
- Provide updates to customers on service progress, timelines, and any changes
- Prepare work orders, invoices, and process payments
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and inquiries promptly
- Maintain organized customer records and service history
- Handle customer questions, concerns, or complaints with a solution-focused approach
- Support the team with general administrative tasks as needed
- Ensure the front desk and customer waiting area are clean and welcoming
Qualifications & Skill Requirements
- Customer Service and sales experience is required.
- Experience in an automotive shop, dealership, or service environment preferred.
- Able to effectively communicate: verbally, written, and processes attentive listening skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to manage people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally.
- Post-Secondary diploma or equivalent
- Confident knowledge with strong customer focus
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work setting
