Asset West Property Management Ltd has been in business serving clients In Calgary, Canmore, Banff, Cochrane, and Airdrie since 2001 (just over two decades), we specialize in providing Condominium and Rental Property Management to and for Board of Directors, homeowners, single and multi unit real estate investors, as well as providing accounting only packages, and consulting services to self-managed condominiums, developers, builders, and real estate investors.

ABOUT OUR CLIENTS:
Our current and future clients make us who we are; they are made up of Residential, Mixed – Use, and Commercial Condominiums, as well as single family, single condominium, and apartment rental/investment , as well as commercial properties.
THE POSITION:
The position will oversee and assist a dedicated portfolio of Condominium and HOA clients. General responsibilities include: conducting property inspections, attendance at Board and AGM/SGM meetings (we offer clients both in person and or Zoom/Teams attendance), assisting Board of Directors with their governance, as well as assisting with their planning of regular and preventative maintenance plans, seeking quotes for larger expenditures and capital projects, issuing Purchase Orders for needed maintenance/work, approving invoices for payment, preparation of monthly Managers Reports to accompany the condominiums monthly financial operating statement, as well as overseeing (in conjunction with our Special Projects team) actual or potential insurance claims, etc. (note: our Managers are supported by both a great Accounting team, as well as a great Administrative and Special Projects team)
While we have in house training we also believe in taking initiative and expect the candidate to also invest their time into their learning and growth (remember, we can never stop learning!).
The successful candidate (you) will have a strong desire to advance and grow their career through a disciplined progression of responsibilities and will possess the following qualifications:
- You will have completed (or are nearing completion of within the next 60 days) the required RECA Condominium Licensing courses, and are either licensed or eligible for licensing.
- 6 months to 1 year or more management or supervisory experience in condominium, hospitality, or business management, is preferred.
- Demonstrated strong client service focus and commitment to quality
- Ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced, deadline driven work environment
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Keen attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team environment
- Initiative and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong administrative skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritize within a wide variety of responsibilities
- Intermediate level or better proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge and experience in rental and condominium management is an asset
- Valid driver’s license and ownership of a reliable vehicle is required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $52,500.00-$70,000.00 per year
