Carry Steel has been established for over 60 years specializing in the supply and fabrication of structural and miscellaneous steel for oil and gas refineries, heavy oil extraction plants, chemical plants, pulp and paper mills and commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings.
Carry Steel is seeking a full-time Weekend Shift Saw Operator to join their team:

Pay Rate: $30.25/hour for competent operator
Includes company-paid benefits and pension plan
Weekend Shift (3 – 12’s/week/Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 40 hours paid)
Specific Duties:
· This position will start on Dayshift, and transition to Weekend Shift once trained
· Perform equipment inspections and specific preventive maintenance at the start of each shift
· Operate CNC equipment and complete required production in a timely manner
· Complete all required documentation and reports in a timely manner
· Perform other related duties, when required
Qualifications:
· We’re willing to train an inexperienced candidate with the right work ethic and values:
o This would start at a lower Pay Rate, depending on experience/competence
· Experience on a saw is preferred;
o Further, previous experience on a Marvel or Berhinger Saw is preferred
· Valid Driver’s License, WHMIS, fit for duty, and able to lift to 30 lbs.
