Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Stamping Press Machine Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing and production environment.
This role is ideal for someone with 1 to 2 years of production or machine operating experience who is comfortable working with stamping equipment, handling physical materials, and maintaining quality and safety standards.
As a Stamping Press Machine Operator, you will help produce and package connector plates used in truss manufacturing. This is a hands-on role in a team-focused environment where safety, consistency, and productivity are key. The position offers steady evening shift hours, a shift premium, and the potential to grow into a long-term opportunity with supportive leadership and a structured production team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate stamping press machinery according to production requirements and safety procedures.
- Pack connector plates into boxes, ensuring products are handled accurately and efficiently.
- Tape, seal, and prepare completed boxes for shipment.
- Load completed boxes onto skids manually or with automated equipment, depending on the machine.
- Perform regular lifting and material handling throughout the shift.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in a noisy manufacturing environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Job Type: Temp ongoing
- Pay Rate: $18.55 per hour, plus a $2.00 afternoon shift premium.
- Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 4:30 pm to 2:30 am.
- Days Shift : Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 Pm
- Overtime: Friday may be scheduled from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, or 4:30pm to 10:00pm with advance notice provided.
