Help build one of hockey's fastest-growing technology brands.
We're looking for someone who loves hockey, enjoys creating content, thinks creatively, and wants far more than a traditional marketing job.
This isn't a role where you'll spend your days resizing graphics, scheduling social posts, or sending email campaigns.
Instead, you'll work alongside our leadership team to help shape and grow the brands behind software used by everyone from local community arenas to professional organizations, including NHL facilities.
You'll have the opportunity to tell meaningful stories, visit customers, attend industry events, develop creative campaigns, experiment with new ideas, and play a genuine role in building a brand from the ground up.
About Us
Marmak develops software that helps arenas and recreation facilities operate more efficiently.
Our two flagship platforms, SUB-ZERO and RFAM, are used by hundreds of facilities across North America to improve ice quality, facility operations, inspections, asset management, and maintenance.
Our customers range from community hockey rinks to municipalities, universities, and professional sports organizations.
What You'll Do
- Planning and filming content at hockey arenas and customer facilities
- Producing social media videos, interviews, customer stories and behind-the-scenes content
- Helping develop and execute marketing campaigns
- Collaborating on our overall brand strategy and long-term vision
- Attending conferences, trade shows and customer events
- Assisting with event planning and customer engagement
- Managing social media channels and experimenting with new content ideas
- Writing blog posts, customer spotlights and announcements
- Learning the operational side of hockey facilities so you can create authentic, industry-leading content
- Bringing your own ideas to the table—and having the freedom to test them
What Makes This Role Different?
We're looking for someone who wants to ask questions like:
- How can we become a respected and trusted brand in our industry?
- How do we tell better customer stories?
- What content would actually make hockey operators excited to follow us?
- How can we make our events unforgettable?
- How can we create marketing that people actually enjoy?
If you enjoy trying new ideas, experimenting, learning, and improving, you'll fit in well here.
You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact from day one.
Who We're Looking For
You don't need 10 years of experience.
In fact, this role may be perfect for someone early in their career who wants to learn and try new methods.
You might be a great fit if you:
- Love hockey or the recreation industry
- Enjoy creating videos, photography and digital content
- Have a good eye for branding and storytelling
- Like learning technology
- Aren't afraid to try something that hasn't been done before
- Can work independently and manage your own projects
- Are curious, organized and proactive
- Enjoy meeting people and building relationships
- Take pride in producing quality work
What We Provide
We want to set you up for success.
You'll have access to the hardware, software and creative tools you need to produce great work.
There may also be opportunities to travel to customer sites, conferences and networking events across North America.
Most importantly, you'll have the trust and autonomy to contribute ideas that genuinely influence the direction of our brand.
