Exclusive Club is a unique and long-standing private dining club in Ancaster. Recent changes and increased notoriety have created the need for a talented Sous Chef within our organization. We seek a passionate, skilled chef to join our team to support our continued reputation of food and service excellence.
As our Sous Chef, you will be responsible for the daily planning, coordination, and execution of all kitchen, back of house and food preparation activities at the Club. You will assist in hiring, training, mentoring, and managing all kitchen staff. You will be responsible for delivering excellence in food preparation and delivery of prepared foods to members and their guests.
Responsibilities:
Manage all activities in the kitchen, including food preparation and production, and management and training of kitchen staff Ensure efficient, cost-effective operation and profitability of food production. Supervise and inspect all preparation and cooking equipment on a regular basis to ensure that they are kept clean, sanitary, and in perfect operating order. Ensure that food products, presentation, and plating are of the highest quality, and are prepared to serve promptly. Assume the role of Executive Chef in his or her absence. Assure adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation in conjunction with the specifications. Monitor holding and storage operations, stocking and food rotation, and guarantee food service sanitation standards are met. Assure kitchen personnel are trained in best cleanliness and sanitation practices.

Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
