Job Description:
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Pür Balance Massage & Facial Spa. This opportunity is perfect for a new graduate who is looking to gain valuable experience in a luxury spa environment with a focus on clinical treatments. As an RMT at our spa, you will have the chance to work with a diverse clientele and utilize your skills to provide therapeutic and healing massage treatments.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and other therapeutic modalities.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients feel comfortable and relaxed throughout their visit.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment notes, progress reports, and any referrals or recommendations made.
- Collaborate with other team members, such as aestheticians and spa therapists, to provide a holistic approach to wellness for our clients.
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to massage therapy.
Requirements:
- Must be a registered massage therapist with a valid license or certification (or a graduate waiting on your license).
- Recent graduates from an accredited massage therapy program are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent knowledge of various massage techniques and their therapeutic benefits.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the human body.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively with other professionals.
- Professional and friendly demeanor with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different client needs and preferences.
- YOU MUST be available to work 2 shift 1 - 8pm per week and every other Saturday 9-2
