We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Wiring Technician for our client in the Mississauga area!
Days: Monday- Thursday 7:00am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
Pay rate: $23.50 per hour
Job Description
Perform point-to-point electrical wiring and assembly of elevator fixture panels by following related electrical CAD schematics.
- Ensure that the elevator fixture panel function smoothly as per the design of the panel layout
- Interpret CAD schematic diagram and understand the circuit’s functionality and troubleshooting the issues
- Conduct wiring of connections, terminate as needed for variety of connectors, control systems, electronic circuit boards, Actuators, Sensors and other electrical devices
- Assist and conduct inspection, functional and continuity testing, adjusting and evaluation of incoming electrical and electronic components and assemblies to ensure conformance with product specifications and tolerances
- Inspect fixture panel according to the schematics and instruction, checking the quality of the process
- Inspect assemblies visually with applicable measuring devices and identify non-conformances as applicable
- Troubleshoot wiring issues and work to resolve them.
- Able to lift up to 15lbs, may work in hot areas 5%, noise 5%
Requirements:
- College Diploma in electrical or equivalent professional experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing background
- Safety shoes
