We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Assistant to provide personalized care and assistance to individuals in need of support within the clients home. This role is vital in promoting independence, safety, and well-being for clients, especially seniors or those with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care settings, and possess a genuine desire to make a positive impact on clients' lives.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, transferring from bed to chair, grooming to promote independence and comfort
- Support with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Client is on JTube feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe living environment
- Engage client in social activities and companionship to enhance emotional well-being
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any concerns or changes to supervising healthcare professionals
- Assist with transfers and mobility using proper techniques to ensure safety for both client and caregiver
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Support clients with activities of daily living in assisted living, nursing homes, or home settings
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home health caregiving preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, working with individuals with disabilities, and dementia care is highly desirable
- Certification or training in medication administration is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills with english and patience
- Ability to work independently while following care plans and safety protocols
- Must pass background checks and adhere to all health and safety regulations

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
